Meetings held at 325 E. Aspen in City Council Chambers unless otherwise noted. Links to agendas and minutes are listed below. City Council meetings and workshops are open to the public. Meetings are where business of the City is conducted. Many items at Council meetings are opened up to the public for their input and are noted on the agenda by the PUBLIC HEARING designation. Council meetings are scheduled to adjourn at 10:00 p.m. Any agenda items not addressed by that time may be carried over to the next meeting.
Workshops are used to update the Council on City business and provide the Mayor and Council members with information about topics coming up on future agendas. The public may attend workshops but their input in not permitted unless invited by the Council for information gathering purposes. No decisions are made at workshops.
If you would like to be placed on the agenda to address the City Council on a specific issue not on the agenda under a designated public hearing, please contact Margaret Steelman, City Clerk, at 858-3663 or by e-mail at ms@fruita.org at least one week prior to the meeting date. If you are not scheduled on the agenda you may address the Council towards the end of the meeting, time permitting, under unscheduled citizens and guests.
