The employees with the Fruita Police Department would like to welcome you to our website.
The Fruita Police Department is committed to finding ways to communicate with community members and those interested in learning more about the police department.
The employees take pride in creating a work environment that is professional yet fun. We take pride in supporting each other and each other’s family. We hold ourselves to a high work ethic which shows during every contact we have with all citizens.
It is my belief the community policing philosophy is essential in establishing a positive partnership with all citizens. Our community policing starts with every citizen contact and how we treat every citizen regardless of the situation. Additional examples include: taking the time to offer all citizens crime prevention tips; sharing information with each other so we can look for patterns of crimes; once identified, working aggressively to hold accountable those that are committing crimes against citizens in our community; and supporting employee’s new ideas and programs that promote a safe community.
Because of our location with many
outdoor activities for our citizens to enjoy, we strive to make the City of
Fruita a safe community. As we continue to grow from a current population of
9,000 +, opportunities for growth within the Fruita Police Department will follow.
