ANIMALS

Most complaints with regard to stray animals, animal abuse, barking dogs or other animal nuisances are usually handled by ANIMAL CONTROL. Questions as to types and numbers of animals allowed within specific zones or complaints regarding non code compliant animals can be directed to Code Enforcement.

In general a single parcel shall not harbor more than four (4) dogs and cats. See Fruita Land Use Code; Chapter 17.33 ANIMAL REGULATIONS for specific types, numbers and allowed zones.
